Consultant Oncologist

Dr. Ehab Ibrahim has completed specialized training in palliative medicine and oncology.

Dr. Ibrahim received his undergraduate education in Egypt and obtained an MSc in oncology before relocating to the UK to pursue specialist training. He underwent dual training in palliative medicine within the North Western Deanery, gaining experience in secondary, tertiary care, community services, and hospice environments.

He subsequently completed his clinical oncology training at the Christie Hospital in 2018 and joined the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in January 2019 as a consultant specializing in lung, head, and neck cancers.

Since his appointment, Dr. Ibrahim has assumed various roles with a particular focus undergraduate medical education. He has collaborated with the undergraduate committee of the Royal College of Radiologists during and after his training to promote the engagement of medical students in oncology education and training.

Dr. Ibrahim supervises medical students clinical oncology trainees throughout their training rotations. He is an active member of the Lung Head & Neck Cancers teams, involved in patient treatment and recruitment for observational and interventional clinical trials. He has served as both principal and sub-investigator on numerous phase 3 aimed at symptom control in lung, head, and neck cancers.

In his personal life, Dr. Ibrahim skillfully balances his responsibilities with family life, managing the demands of raising two teenagers.
